Scram Software is an award winning, cyber security software development company, founded in Melbourne Australia. We are dedicated to securing everyone’s data in the cloud by making cloud security software that’s trustworthy and easy to use.
We were founded by Linus Chang, a serial entrepreneur and industry veteran, who was also the creator of BackupAssist®, a global provider of automated Windows server backup and ransomware protection software for small and medium sized enterprises, sold to 165 countries.
Our team consists of experts in the fields of information theory: cryptography, compression, data backup and processing.
The ScramFS encryption system was researched, developed and peer-reviewed over three years by a team of security experts in the fields of information theory, cryptography, compression, data backup and processing including Dr. Ron Steinfeld, a leader in post-quantum cryptography (Monash University, Australia), and Dr. Toby Murray, a leader in software security (The University of Melbourne, Australia)
